How do I copy parts of an existing project?

When creating a new project, it can be useful to copy parts from an existing project. Labels, usernames/email addresses and audit templates and ticket titles and Descriptions are available for this purpose.

Here’s how it goes.

  1. Log in via web.edcontrols.com;
  2. Click on ‘new project’ at the top right of the screen;
  3. Select the contract under which the new project falls;
  4. Now click ‘Copy parts from an existing project’;
  5. Select the parts you want to copy;
  6. Fill in the rest of the details of your new project;
  7. Click ‘create’.

Note: If the templates section is selected, ALL templates from a project will be copied. If you only want to copy a selection, there is another option.
