How does Ed Score work?

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

With Ed Score, you can assess your performance over the past 3 months. This personal dashboard is available in the Ed Controls mobile app.

This is how your Ed Score is calculated:

  • As Accountable or Support
  • As Responsible

Your Ed Score is made up of various parts. One component carries greater weight than the other.

  • Created tickets:
    • This part determines 40% of your Ed Score;
    • A newly created ticket must have a Responsible assigned. The ticket must therefore have the Started status;
    • The average number of created tickets per week determines the score. The higher the average, the higher the score.
  • Archived tickets:
    • This part determines 40% of your Ed Score;
    • Tickets must be archived after the Responsible has changed the status to Completed;
    • The average number of archived tickets per week determines the score. The higher the average, the higher the score.
  • Use by subcontractor:
    • This part determines 20% of your Ed Score;
    • The status of individual tickets must be changed by the Responsible to Completed;
    • The score is highest if the Responsible or Support does not have to change the status from Started to Completed.

Your Ed Score is made up of various parts. One component carries greater weight than the other.

  • Response time
    • This part determines 20% of your Ed Score;
    • We use the average number of days it takes to respond to determine the score;
    • The faster a Responsible responds to an assigned ticket, the higher the score.
  • Completed tickets
    • This part determines 30% of your Ed Score.
    • We use the percentage of tickets completed over the total number of tickets to determine the score.
    • The higher the percentage, the higher the score.
  • Accepted completed tickets
    • This part determines 50% of your Ed Score.
    • As soon as the status of a ticket changes from Completed to Archived, a ticket is accepted.
    • The more tickets accepted, the higher the score.
