What is the difference between an area and an object audit?

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

There are two different types of audits, namely: an area audit and an object audit.

The most commonly deployed is the area audit. For instance, it can be used for a building, a floor or all the windows within a single project. This requires you travelling some distance.

The object audit lends itself to recording findings in one place. An object audit is based on a ticket instead of a drawing. You don’t have to walk far to record this. An example is checking meter readings.

Please note: By default, an audit will start as an area audit. When you want to start an object audit you indicate this in the template.
